Hi all!  Vacation is going pretty well so far.  I’ve definitely been relaxing and not worrying about work, people, whatever.  It’s not going as smooth as I had envisioned in my mind and I think that I am going to revisit my weight loss goal - I’ll be amazed if I maintain a 199.  Honestly.  The foods are so inviting and sitting at home leads to snacking.  I’m trying to snack on fruit or just drink water, or have a piece of gum, but it doesn’t always work.  It’s also frustrating because there isn’t anything here to snack on!  I just end up having more of something.  I don’t know - I’m not going to stress as much.  It defeats the purpose of being on vacation.

Love to all

Rochelle

I try to employ the 80-20 rule when on vacation for both food and exercise; 80% healthy choices and 20% fun choices. And always keep that positive attitude. I am happy to hear your very healthy outlook on vacation and life. Keep it up!!!!

Hey Rochelle: Enjoy your vacation and try not to “think” so much about the food…think about the time with your family, friends, etc. I like Kristina’s theory!

The key…keep EXERCISING! Even if it’s cold, take a walk, enjoy the scenery! Being active will definitely help!

    Have Fun :)
