There are so many great things I get to see and be part of when I talk with people who are in the process of losing weight or who have met their health and weight loss goals. Obviously one of the big ones is the actual physical transformation – it can be absolutely stunning, sometimes leaving us not believing that the person standing in front of you is the same person in the photograph. Generally that is the first and most noticeable change and deservedly receives lots of attention! Which is great, because I mean…it’s super motivating to hear “Wow! Are you losing weight? You look FAAAN-TASTIC!” Plus who doesn’t want to know they are looking F-I-N-E fine! Right?
But a lot of times there’s more to it than that, and that’s the part of this that I’m really sitting back and enjoying right now in these already faaaan-tastic ladies. I’ve only known them for a few short weeks now, and we are only a few days in and I can see the change from “I think, I hope, or I want” to “I know, I can, and I will.” You can see it in their blog entries, check it out!
♥ There is strength brewing! Physical strength but also a sense of emotional strength and determination…check it out in Tuccoa’s email to Steve about her last workout.
♥ There is EXCITEMENT and energy and as she says, FIRE, in Gina’s commitment to getting back to her former condition…spin instructor! When I spoke with Gina earlier this week she remarked about how she had forgotten how GREAT it feels to get energized from a tough, sweaty workout, or when she acknowledges Steve’s Valentine’s Day Challenge! Yeah baby!!
♥ And Rochelle is totally into the spirit of sharing and inspiring others with her tips and experiences, her commitment and dedication is evident in wanting to be a good role model for her students and for everyone following along with her journey!
♥ Melissa is visualizing the healthier, stronger Melissa and really knowing SHE WANTS IT! Even when she’s not feeling well, she’s still looking FORWARD…she knows there’s no going back from here!

There is so much to look forward to as we continue to get to know these ladies and uncover all of their strengths and their gifts. The physical changes, the new level of fitness they will attain, the confidence…Each of these moments is like a new tool going into their “motivation toolbox.” Whether it’s an experience, a new skill, a positive behavior or a healthy new pattern of thought replacing an old piece of negative self-talk, it’s a piece of the bigger picture that will help drive them through the finish line!
Your motivation is sky high right now you guys! I know just by talking to you and reading your daily updates that you’re going to keep on building momentum and feeling strong and empowered and healthy, growing your toolbox as you go. When you’re putting all of the pieces together, the more tools you have, the more prepared you’re going to be for anything life throws your way! With that by your side, you KNOW you can overcome anything!
Go Go Go!!
