Hi everyone!  Cathy here!  What an exciting time, huh?  Four people have just committed to changing their lifestyle, losing weight and getting in shape!  That’s no easy feat, and I’m excited about working with these fabulous ladies!  I’ve spoken with each of them several times now, and their motivation and level of enthusiasm is absolutely infectious!

Here’s what makes this even more special: These are regular people, just like you and just like me!  They have families and jobs and social lives — and they’re not being shuffled off to a secluded camp somewhere.  They’re going to make this happen in real life, in real time.  You’re not going to see any magic bullets, quick fixes or diet pills — just a ton of hard work, focus and dedication.  They are literally going to work their butts off in front of your very eyes, and what an amazing accomplishment THAT is going to be…

I’ll be checking in with each of these gals on a weekly basis.  We’ll talk about everyday things - how’s the meal plan working, are they sticking to it and if not, why not?  How about that fitness program?!  Trainer Steve Maresca is putting together some fantastic fat-blasting workouts — how are those going? How’s that energy level?

We’ll talk about any challenges they may be facing in the upcoming week, and we’ll celebrate all of their successes, big or small: when someone gets to “onederdland” for the first time (under 200 pounds), when the belt notch gets pulled to the next one or when someone has to go buy all new underwear because they have baggy bum (that’s never pretty J)!  I’ll be straight with them when they need to hear it, and a friendly and empathetic ear when things are tough and they’re persevering through it all despite circumstance!

What it comes down to, though, is that everyone has their own reasons for finally making THE decision to change their life, to make THIS time THE time to really get it done.  Part of the key to making this time THE time is really digging deep and identifying what’s really driving you and what’s going to keep that spark burning when the journey gets tough.

So I ask our four — Gina, Rochelle, Tuccoa and Melissa — what is it that is really driving you to succeed at this? What is going to make this your time?  Writing it down and putting it out there to other people gives it real power and meaning, and you can always come back here and find it if you feel your motivation waning!  And to anyone else who may be reading: Is this your time, too?  Think about it, dig in there and find what really moves you and share it with us!  What could be more motivating to these women than knowing they’ve helped inspire you, too?

    Cathy- you INSPIRE me!!! To have lost 121 lbs, let’s me know that #1 you know what you’re talking about and #2 you KNOW what we’re going through. Thanks in advance for your committment to helping us reach our goals!!!
